a day in the life

Tuxedo Love

This week we are taking inspiration from some of our favorite black wardrobe 'basics.'  Today we started with our current go-to black pant, this stretch jegging with leather (vegan) knee patches.  We've accessorized with two other staples.  First, everyone needs a great black boot and....we can't get enough of our Docs, hands down the best kids boot of the moment.  A killer pair of black sunglasses tops it all off.

Pink, Ruffles & Lace, Oh My!

Typically you would not find us wearing a look composed of 'pink, ruffles and lace'....., at least not all at once.  This look, however, is our exception.  The juxtaposition of the uber girly with the relaxed attitude of a sweat pant and high-top sneaker give it just enough edge to melt away all of our pink-ruffled angst!  And we think those sunglasses are pretty fab too!

Patterned Sneaks

OK, we admit it, we are a bit sneaker obsessed.  Luckily for us, over the past few years, the sneak has become rather chic.  Today we've rounded up our favorite personality lace-ups.  We'll let them do all the talking and pair them with something clean, crisp and easy.  Which pair suits your personality?  We'd wear 'em all if we could!

Zip to the Crew

The classic grey heather sweatshirt re-imagined.  We're into gold zippers lately and we like how these almost feel like jewelry....because everyone needs a little jewelry at the park!  ;)

the look: Pretty Powerful

Pretty Powerful

Printed active tights abound and these water print capris have us mesmerized, dreaming of summer and time spent poolside.  Feminine sorbet tones are so fresh in active wear.  They look great head to toe tonal or with a bright citrus pop.  And who doesn't need a complimentary jump rope for their ensemble?  We think we all know the answer to that, but, whether it tells the story or no, we are pretty smitten.....beautifully colored and, bonus, it's a kit so you can design it any way you'd like and a portion of each sale supports School of Doodle, an organization that believes female creativity and confidence is the foundation of the future.  We couldn't agree more.
